Anganwadi school wall painting - Art volunteer

Through a project organized by A.D Soni Foundation, Sponsored by Dulux India Paint and envisioned by Urban Sketchers Surat, volunteered to paint the walls of the pre-primary classroom based on Panchatantra stories intended to bring motivational awareness and a playful spirit in their learning environment.

April 2016                                                 Innovation in Shadow Art
                                                                  Created 7 Easy to Assemble Reusable Shadow Art kits from used cartons for children                                                                                  to 
explore creating art using shadows of cut outs as part of the Final Practical exam of                                                                                the Ecc. Ed course, wherein I conducted a Day of teaching at NSS Hillspring International                                                                              School, Mumbai.

2013 – 2015                                             Self-led Research in Traditional Indian Art application in Contemporary Fashion.
                                                                  Exploratory concept designs and application process of Ajrakh print, Rogan Art and
                                                                  Madhubani painting on Women’s Garments.

                                                                  lllustrations and design development for ethnic women’s clothing; Worked on individual
                                                                  designs - from concept to final shoot sample - which were part of the catalogues for

                                                                 portfolio development and designing a fashion collection

2005-2006                                            Self-led Fashion Project
                                                                 ‘Mughal Mania’ - A designer womenswear collection inspired by the iconic Mughal
                                                                 architectures of Agra on Formal and Casual Western silhouettes. The project involved
                                                                 design, manufacture and multiple exhibits of this marketable collection. Engaged in
                                                                 Screen and Block printing of custom-made designs on the products.
